Thank You for Backing Us Date: 02/16/2015

So here we are. The finish line.

After tens of thousands of typed words, 30 nights of staying up late, 63 full-color illustrations, hundreds of messages and facebook posts, lots of sculpting, playtest interaction with over 100 backers, our first Kickstarter ends.

My art album has grown so thick that it's a pain to lift!

It's been quite a ride. And we found a lot of new, amazingly creative and supportive fans along the way. I know it sounds trite - but it's TRUE - the level of support we had from you backers, but also from blogs, news sites, social media groups has been exceptional. It allowed us to go well beyond our initial funding goal of $4500 to cover the sculpting and casting of the first six figures.

When we started this, we knew it had potential, but honestly we did not think it would grow so fast - yes, just like mushrooms do. We had three Master of Fungi sending in their designs, and rules are being written for those additional figures, and I am painting new illustrations that include those creatures.

Even those who could not spare with the cash contributed in other ways. All of your posts, ideas and comments have been read and considered. This is what i love about the gaming community - they are not only helping us financially, they also contribute CREATIVELY - what this hobby is all about. It's not about selling more books or figures than your competitors, it's not about nitpicking at rules to win tournaments. It's about having fun and creating worlds and stories together. This is what we are doing folks.

YOU are the creators. YOU have taken the sparkle of an idea and made it into a reality.

And this is just the beginning. We just registered two sites, Songofblades.com andHarderThanSteel.com, where we will be selling our miniature lines and building our fantasy and science fiction worlds. There is no content there now - we did not have the time - but we will keep you posted. Stay with us. It's going to be an exciting ride!

As the Wood Elves of Arbas Laria say, "May the sun always shine on your Vale".
